YOUTH AMERICAN GRAND PRIX INTERNATIONAL BALLET COMPETITION Chicago, Il February 8 - 11, 2008 Kaitlyn Reiser, Leah Pivirotto, Hannah Opalko, Alexandra Salerno, Miranda Maleski, John Michael Fiumara, Hollie Brown, Rachel Narasinham, Bittany Pent, Stephanie Pittman and Nina Linhart, were invited to attend. The dancers took class at the famous Hubbard Street Co, traveled Michigan Avenue, shopped Miracle Mile and of course saw Wrigley Field! Kaitlyn Reiser made the Top Twelve eliminations in both the Classical Variation and Contemporary Divisions. Her Contemporary piece earned 2nd place over-all with Choreography honors going to Abby Lee Miller. Kaitlyn's successful first trip to the prestigious Ballet Competition earned her high honors advancing to the next level in New York City in April! Miranda Maleski & Stephanie Pittman also made the Top Twelve eliminations in the Contemporary Division! I would like to extend gratitude to our Ballet Faculty Peter & Cynthia for their time and miles to introduce our students to the world class Ballet Competition!
